I finished the book for McGraw-Hill a few weeks ago. It turned out really well. Unfortunately, as is the case in the publishing industry, I am not allowed to post any of the art until the book has been released.

So, instead I will post some photos of my new studio! We moved into the home at the end of December, and it is amazing! The studio is in a finished part of the basement, and has a computer nook, built in book shelf, track lighting and sliding door that looks out onto an incredible garden. Of course, the garden doesn't look like much right now, but come spring it will be green and flowery!

My house and studio were featured as house of the week today, November 13, 2011 in the Syracuse Post Standard. We are selling our beloved bungalow for something a bit more spacious. I'll miss it so much, but I will certainly love my upgraded studio space. Here are some photos that appeared in the Post Standard Sunday paper today.

The 2011 ABC Best Books for Children Catalogue is now out. It is an amazing catalogue that circulates to Independent Books Sellers across the nation. I am very proud to say that three of my latest Indestructibles Books by Workman Publishing are included in this exclusive catalogue (Frere Jacques, Hickory Dickory Dock, and Old Mac Donald).
